Hello $MEMBER$,
Welcome to this first issue of MAPUAWORLD2004 News-Email. You received this email because,
(1) you are an alumni of the Mapua Institute of technology and
(2) you or someone else has included your name and email address in the database of
NAMABC - host of MapuaWorld2004. Your privacy is very important to us, if you think you receive

MapuaWorld 2004 Grand International Reunion will be held here in our
beautiful city of Vancouver on July 30, 31 and August 1, 2004.
The aim of these reunions is to promote professional fellowship
among Mapuans around the world in the year 2000 and beyond.
A North American umbrella organization (MapuaWorld Commission)
was established to serve as a link among all Mapuans in
the U.S., Canada and around the world.

The website uses Microsoft technologies like Access database, Active Server Pages, HTC- html components and others.
It is hosted by www.hostmysite.com. It is designed to gather information from an alumnus and send an email to
confirm such activity. Some of the functionalities are;
1. The MapuaWorld Guest Book has a unique feature where you can edit your entry via a password. You need not memorize your password as you can just click "i forgot my password" and it will be automatically mailed to you.
2. You can now post your entry as a prospective attendee. Since the actual event is still far into the future, things may change; should this happen, you can always adjust your entry via email to the chairman of MapuaWorld2004. Your entry is important as this might entice your friends on planning to come too.
3. An entry form where your name and email address can be entered is provided on our HOME page. Filling up this form will add your input to our database so you can be updated on any developments about the MapuaWorld 2004.
4. Mapua related links contains a form where you can add your website. It works just like a guestbook. Here, you can also edit your entry.
EVENT COMMITTEE
During NAMABC'c last Executive Meeting on October 25, 2002, the Mapuaworld 2004 committees were
finally completed with Chairperson and Vice Chairperson selected and list of duties assigned. The Steering Committee
Chairman is Eddie Alfonso (current NamaBC President) and the Vice-chairman is Digno Vibat (previous NamaBC president).
