As of June 2003, we have 110 prospective attendees to our grand international reunion. With one exception from Japan, all prospective
attendees are coming from North America. There are also 32 prospective golf players who have signed in for the golf tournament on
July 31, 2004. The lists of attendees and golf players are still growing.
Our Planning Committee has negotiated a "preferred rate" for accommodation with the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown Hotel (shown at left).
This hotel will also be the venue for the meet and greet social on Friday Night, July 30 and our gala event dinner and dance party on
Saturday, July 31. Please see our website at www.mapuaworld.com
for more details.
For other events and activities, our Business Development Committee has arranged optional tours while our guests are in Vancouver.
It is up to the guest to register their intention if they want to join these optional tours. Our souvenir program solicitation for advertisers
is well underway. We have chosen the printer and currently doing the design for the souvenir program. Our Marketing Committee is
doing advertising of this event in print media via our Mapuaworld 2004 flyers and on TV via our local Multi-cultural channel.
The Website Committee has always been busy updating our Mapuaworld website to provide up-to-date information to all our viewers
and prospective attendees. Three forms have been included in PDF format so you can print them individually or download to your
computer. They are the Program Sponsor Advertisement, the Registration Form and the Flyer.
You can also view a slide show featuring the
preparations and fundraising earmarked for our grand reunion.
Other committees are working behind the scene to prepare for your arrival in Vancouver such as the Budget and Finance Committee,
Registration Committee and Events Committee. They will ensure that you enjoy your stay here in Vancouver.

| Golf Tournament on July 31, 2004
|
The golf tournament on July 31, 2004 will be set up to suit both beginners and experienced players. We will use Callaway system for
the beginners where the net score will be determined by a formula that will allow players with high scores to win. For the experienced
players, we will use the handicap system where the net score will be determined by their established handicap from USGA, RCGA or
any accredited golf association.
Shown above are the members of NAMABC Golf Club.
We would like to have a fun game for the beginners and at the same time a real competition for the good and more serious
players. For beginner golfers simply indicate n/a (not applicable) under your handicap column and for players with handicap please
indicate your handicap on the list on our website. We will give you more details about the golf course where the tournament will be
played soon.
Your opinion is important to us, send your comments and ideas so we can better serve you and enjoy your stay in Vancouver.
