Message from the NAMABC President


Holiday Greetings to you !!!
The Executive Committee would like to invite you and your guests to our traditional Christmas Party and our Annual General Meeting.


Date: Friday, December 5, 2008
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Place: KENTIZEN Restaurant #2029 88 W. Pender St
Tel: (604) 771-0301
(2nd Floor at Tinseltown, close to GM Place Sky Train Station, near Chinatown)


**** FREE UNDERGROUND PARKING for first 3 hours ****
Cost: $25 per person (tea and soda pop included)
Attire: Semi-formal


This year, our Association will be having our Christmas party at the Kentizen Restaurant (www.kentizencuisine.com), featuring Japanese/Chinese Buffet. There is an open bar in the restaurant for those who would like to have some alcoholic drinks.

We will also have our elections of Officers for 2009 - 2010 at this event. The nominated officers are :
President - Julius Lardizabal
First V.P. - Dexter Tarampi
Second V.P. - Bong Banting
Secretary - Lissa Bentley
Treasurer - Mike Sevilla
PRO - Tony Santos


The nominations will be open during the meeting and any accredited (paid) member will be able to nominate a candidate of his/her choice.


At our AGM, we will provide a report of what happened this year. We will also discuss our Association's planned participation at the coming MapuaWorld 2009 which will be held in Houston, Texas on March 12 - 15 of next year. We would also like to get your input for our NAMABC website and on future activities for next year.


Please confirm you attendance by replying to this email by November 24th so that we can advise the Restaurant on the number of people attending.
